A Story: "Life Lesson"

This story is dedicated to Aunt B, who inspires me to keep up the blog for a loving audience

One day Savannah was hanging out in the Bumbo, looking cute as usual.  Unfortunately she was completely unaware of the obscene gesture her left hand was making.

When I pointed it out and explained to her what it meant she couldn't believe it!

Waving her hand in the air and shaking her head, she tried to clear up the misunderstanding by assuring me she had no idea and would never do that on purpose.

I told her not to worry because, being only 3 months old, there was no way she could have known.  She was quite relieved and promised not to do it again.

The end

  1. Oh my! I saw this. It is only the cutest thing I've ever seen in my whole life! It looks just like she is expressing every single caption for each picture. Tell her Aunt B knows fully well her sweet Savannah would never use her middle finger for negative purposes. She might someday, but certainly not for a while and not without just cause. Tell her also how deeply honored I am to have this marvelous life lesson dedicated to me. It was exactly what I needed today:-) God bless you all.,

  2. Oops! Should read I "just" saw this. That's what I was saying in my mind when I was typing, anyway . . ..
I also wanted to say thank you so much for the Christmas card. It was perfect!

  3. Aunt B, I modified my prior dedication...I realized that I did not mean it as it could have been interpreted. The dedication has nothing to do with the content of the story, just the inspiration you impart upon me. I picture you and my faithful audience enjoying new posts on the blog, and it makes me smile. I am sorry if this post insinuated that you gesture in anything other than lovely ways. :)

  4. I can honestly say it didn't even cross my mind you were insinuating I have ever made unlovely gestures. Noooooo. . . . not me! (Well, maybe once or twice or maybe 3 times - all well merited.)

I can't tell you how much I look forward to Savannah blog updates. If my anticipation/appreciation helps keep those pictures and blog entries coming then all I have to say is . . . YEY me and thank you! I tried to text you back when I got your message, but I was gettting my hair done and had to go to
    shampoo:-)
